MZM-207-Chozodia Map (All Items)

Полная карта Чозодии (с указанием игровых предметов) из Metroid: Zero Mission.

Some time later, the Pirates connected their ship to the Chozo ruins with a glass bridge, and began excavating the temple as well as installing unique Pirate Alarm Systems to catch possible intruders. Samus was later forced to explore Chozodia after she was shot down by Space Pirates. Chozodia also seems to contain segments of the Wrecked Ship, though it is only during the events of Super Metroid in which Samus will be able to completely explore it. Other than the mentioned segments, the rest of the area has only appeared in Metroid: Zero Mission. Given that some of the rooms in the region look like parts of Maridia in Super Metroid, though, it is likely that these rooms became flooded and submerged after the Pirate Mothership's destruction and the end of Samus' initial mission to Zebes.

Scattered throughout Chozodia are copious amounts of hieroglyphs, and carvings of Chozo (including one that attacks Samus) similar to the designs of the ancient Egyptian civilization on Earth. The Power Bomb upgrade was located in this area prior to its theft by a Space Pirate. The Chozo Statue holding the upgrade was very similar to Chac Mool, an ancient Mayan statue holding a plate on its hands. This implies it depicts a female Chozo.

Интересные факты

  • A remix of the Wrecked Ship theme is heard near the beginning of this area when Samus first enters the Space Pirate Mother Ship with only her Zero Suit. A different version of the same theme can also be heard in the underground sections of Crateria in Metroid Zero Mission. Interestingly, these themes do not play when Samus explores sections of the Wrecked Ship present in Chozodia.
  • At first sight, it would appear that the Space Pirate Mother Ship, upon its destruction, becomes the Wrecked Ship. However, once the glass bridge has been broken, Samus gains access to several sections resembling parts of the ruined vessel seen in Super Metroid. Also, developers have firmly stated that the Pirate vessel and the Wrecked Ship are separate ships, citing the area in Crateria that appears to be the outside/inside of the Wrecked Ship.
  • Upon gaining the fully powered suit, a fast-paced remix of the Brinstar theme is played. It is not in the Sound Test in the Extras menu.
