The "Humility" Class Turret is a Space Pirate copy of the Galactic Federation's GM-42 ‘Growler’ Class Turret. The Space Pirates were able to acquire the GF turret, though found the cannon unit inadequate. They replaced the Growler's weapon with a powerful Galvanic Accelerator Cannon, causing it to inflict more damage. However, the turret is still fairly slow and can be easily evaded by agile targets. The armor is also fairly weak. Samus Aran encounters these turrets in the Space Pirates' base in the Agon Wastes on planet Aether. Samus can easily destroy them by firing a Missile or a Charge Beam shot. The "Vigilance" Class Turret was built to support the "Humility" Class Turret. They are only found in three locations in the Space Pirate mining facility: Sand Processing, Security Station A, and Biostorage Access.
In Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, the "Humility" Class Turret is outdated by the Remorse-Class Turret.

The Space Pirates copied captured Federation "Growler" turrets, but found the cannon unit inadequate. They replaced the Growler's weapon with a powerful galvanic accelerator cannon. The "Humility" turret packs a strong punch, but retains the Growler system's weaknesses. Fast targets can evade the crude targeting system, and the armor can't take much punishment.
