Akira Oishi is a producer and graphic designer at Taiyo Kikaku Co.,ltd., a cinematic production company. Oishi and Taiyo Kikaku worked with Team Ninja on Metroid: Other M, for which Oishi served as an executive producer. Other games he has worked on include Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword, the original Fatal Frame and Dead or Alive: Dimensions, which features a stage based on the Geothermal Power Plant from Other M, with Samus and Ridley making cameo appearances. He is sometimes credited as Akira Ooisi and Akira Ooishi.
