The Alimbic Cannon Control Room is a room on Alinos. It appears in Metroid Prime Hunters.

Description[]

The circular control room’s defining feature is its unusually elaborate architecture: Every pillar and wall is decorated with spiral carvings and swirling patterns. Eight diamond-shaped receptacles for the Octoliths encircle the walls. In the center of the room is a glowing platform with a spiral rising up around it: It is here that one may stand to return the Octoliths. At the far end of the room is a screen surrounded by three differently colored lights: When activated, this provides a view of the cannon itself.

This room has a large number of Lore scans. It is the room that is powered by eight Octoliths. Once Samus collected all eight Octoliths, this room was activated. It then located the prison Oubliette, where Gorea was imprisoned.

Aftermath plays in this room. This is the only time it is not heard in a room after a boss has been defeated.
