Alinos Gateway[1] is a theme from Metroid Prime Hunters. It was composed by Lawrence Schwedler.
Description[]
Alinos Gateway is heard on Alinos maps during the multiplayer mode of the game, including the titular Alinos Gateway. It does not play in Adventure Mode. It is also available as track 05 in the game's Music Test after defeating Gorea's second form.
The melody of Alinos Gateway is mostly sung by a low male choir, although a higher female choir is also heard at several points. The chorus is accompanied by percussion, a bass, and various electronic sounds. The theme is dark and tense, but also somewhat mysterious in tone.
Alinos Gateway is very similar to an arrangement of Planet Tallon IV in the Ancient Vestige multiplayer map of Metroid Prime Hunters: First Hunt. With First Hunt being a demo for Hunters and Ancient Vestige being an prototype version of Combat Hall, it is likely that the Planet Tallon IV remix is an early version of the song that would eventually become Alinos Gateway in the final game. However, the final version of Alinos Gateway does not share its melody with Planet Tallon IV, instead using a new and original melody.
The theme is unlockable as a ringtone in Level 2 of Mission in Snow Driftland.
