Apex Screw Attack.png

Apex Screw Attack is a variant of the Screw Attack recovery move used by Samus in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. It is unlockable at random. This transforms the regular Screw Attack into a purely vertical jump that will only deal damage to opponents at the start and end of the attack, for a total of two hits. The Apex Screw Attack is very powerful and can KO opponents at mid-percentages with great knockback. However, with increased damage comes its decreased effectiveness as a recovery move as Samus gains less altitude. The first hit deals 2%, and the second deals 9% if done on the ground, or 7% if done in the air.
