De Angelis tested Metroid Prime 2: Echoes (in which he is credited as Ariel del Rio) and translated Metroid: Other M into Spanish alongside Pablo Muñoz Sánchez. Other games he has translated include Donkey Kong Country Returns, Nintendo Land and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, all of which feature elements of Metroid in some form.
