Ashleigh LaThrop is an American actress. She appeared in "Face the Threat", the American television commercial for Metroid Dread. In the commercial, LaThrop plays the game in her apartment at night. As E.M.M.I.-03MB infiltrates her apartment and prepares to attack, she looks at it, smirks, and materializes Samus's Helmet over her head. LaThrop was not credited for her role in the commercial. She was identified via a 2023 investigation by Shinesparkers into actresses who portrayed Samus Aran.[1]
LaThrop is an actress of film, television and stage. Her other notable roles include Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed, The Handmaid’s Tale, NCIS: Hawaiʻi, The Kominsky Method and Need for Speed: Unbound, among others.
