Batalloons are underwater creatures in Metroid Dread. They are only found in submerged rooms of Burenia. If they are hit with any of Samus's attacks, they will start to approach her slowly. They are durable despite their small size, and damage Samus on contact. Therefore, it is best for her to take them out from a distance. They are usually found in packs of two.
Their name is possibly derived from the word "balloon".
