Beware is a 15-second advertisement for Metroid Dread uploaded to the official Nintendo YouTube channels on September 2021 as an unlisted video. It can be viewed here, here, and here (now private).
Description[]
There are three versions of the teaser. The first version starts with Samus disembarking from an elevator (presumably in Cataris), then her sliding and exploring Artaria and using Phantom Cloak against a green E.M.M.I.
The second version starts with Samus entering an E.M.M.I. Zone in Artaria, as the white E.M.M.I. appears above her. The E.M.M.I. looks down at Samus, before the ad cuts to a brief clip of the chase in gameplay.
The third version starts with Samus looking over a statue, then collecting a cube, then using a morph ball in Cataris and jumping up a shaft in a frozen area before ending as a white E.M.M.I. looks down as Samus fires on it.
Regardless of the version, green text appears on the bottom left portion of the screen, giving details on Samus's mission on ZDR:
SUBJECT: SAMUS ARAN LOCATION: PLANET ZDR
OBJECTIVE: E.M.M.I. SENT TO ZDR HAVE BECOME HOSTILE,
PROCEED WITH CAUTION AND ESCAPE THE PLANET.
This transitions into an image of the white E.M.M.I. enveloped by smoke, with "Beware" appearing in red over it. The game's key art, logo and release date are then displayed, with more of the chase playing on a Nintendo Switch OLED system. Boss Scorpius plays during the ad.
