Biologic Space Laboratories (abbreviated as B.S.L.) is an organization that studies dangerous creatures from distant planets. The organization debuts in Metroid Fusion along with a B.S.L.-owned research station orbiting SR388, which is investigated by Samus Aran and Biologic's research team.

- Interestingly, all labels of the B.S.L (such as on Biologic's vessel and the Docking Bays doors) exclude the period after the letter L.
- Biologic Space Laboratories shares its acronym with the real life system of precautions taken to prevent lab outbreaks, which is called "biosafety level".
