Brett Gow is an American software executive currently working at Signal Studios, an independent video game developer in Seattle. From 1987-1993 he worked at Nintendo as a founding member of the Game Counselor hotline, product developer before moving into product development. During this time he also provided design and illustrations for Nintendo's coin-operated games, and the packaging and advertisements for Mario Paint. Gow then worked at Acclaim Entertainment for several years before rejoining Nintendo in 2003 as a development manager and executive producer, and launched the Mario Strikers franchise. Before joining Signal Studios he worked at Microsoft and Glu Mobile.
Gow worked on three Metroid games during his second tenure at Nintendo. He was a supervisor for Metroid Prime Pinball, and is credited under special thanks in Metroid Prime Hunters and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.
