Unidentified Life Form 18 is a large species of plant that resembles a giant Venus Flytrap. Samus encounters several of them in the Burrow located on Bryyo. Though they ignore her, she uses the leaves that grow out of their vines in order to navigate the area, though they are sensitive enough to fold into themselves for several seconds after she moves across them.
