In Metroid Fusion, the Central Reactor Core is a part of the Reactor Silo on the Biologic Space Laboratories research station that loses its main power. Samus goes to the Auxiliary Power Station to restore the auxiliary power system. Next, she has to enter Sector 2 (TRO) through a hidden passage, and after an encounter with her deadly X mimic, the SA-X, she progresses on to defeat Nettori and stops the vegetation from choking the activity of the Main Deck. Sector 2 is a few rooms away from this room, so Samus can get to the sector faster.
