Chozo Shrine[1][2] is the name of the theme that plays in the Artifact Temple in Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime Pinball. The theme is also included in the Metroid Prime & Fusion Original Soundtracks, titled Artifact Shrine (アーティファクト神殿 ).
Description[]
Chozo Shrine combines plucked string arpeggios, ambient synths, and ethereal choir melodies to evoke the holy and sacred vibe of the Artifact Temple. Towards the end of the track, it features the notes from the series' original Title theme. The theme is briefly arranged in Artifact Shrine (Release of the Chozo Ruins Seal), which plays when the Cipher is opened, and Shrine Collapsing~Epilogue, when the Artifact Temple crumbles. The Ice Chapel music has a similar instrumentation to Chozo Shrine.
In the Metroid Prime Trilogy version of the game, it is purchasable in the Soundtrack Gallery.
Part of the choir melody of Chozo Shrine is incorporated into the Metroid Prime Trilogy title theme, where it is sung by a low male choir and alternates with a female choir singing Rundas Fight. This portion is also featured on the Wii menu when selecting Metroid Prime Trilogy.
The theme from Prime can be heard here: [1], and the theme from Pinball here: [2].
