Metroid II: Return of Samus was made available in North America from December 2012 to January 2013 and Super Metroid was exchangeable from April 2013 to May 2013.[1][2] Wii U owners who redeemed their coins for Super Metroid in the previously stated time period were refunded their coins and given a complementary download code for either console in May as a result of acknowledging that the game was available on Wii U that same month for thirty cents.[3]
