Connection Elevator to Deck Beta is a room on the Frigate Orpheon. It appears in Metroid Prime during the self-destruct sequence after defeating the Parasite Queen. The room contains an Interface Module to activate a hologram; walking into it causes the elevator to move. On the upper floor of the room is an Auto Defense Turret. This turret can be deactivated by scanning another Interface Module on the wall, or can be destroyed. Along the elevator shaft are multiple small ventilation fans, and orange holographic panels appear on the walls as Samus approaches them.
It shares its name with an earlier elevator on the Orpheon. Unlike that one, this elevator is not explored as part of the crashed Orpheon on Tallon IV, and is most likely destroyed.

Trivia[]
- Oddly, Connection Elevator to Deck Beta is known internally as 00g_intro_end, similarly to 00f_intro_end.
- When the elevator rises, the gear of the elevator releases sparks in the wrong direction.[1]
