The Cooling Vent is an object in Metroid Prime Hunters, found in the Fuel Stack room on the Vesper Defense Outpost. It contains a number of pumps pumping blue nitrogen. The pumps establish and maintain a sub-zero atmosphere throughout the VDO. They are responsible for keeping the VDO cold in order to prevent reactivation of the Alimbic fusion-powered weapons systems.
