Corella 5 is the name of a planet that was mentioned along with planet Zebes on the North American Metroid Prime website, which states that the Galactic Federation's "GFB Inter-Stellar Network" contains information on it. It has not been referenced in any other media thus far, and the website did not have a profile of the planet as it did for others.

Interestingly, a corella is a bird. It is possible that the name was made to be associated with a bird, much like Tallon IV has a name that sounds like the word "talon" and has the number 4 in the name.
The name is almost identical to that of the planet Corellia in the Star Wars universe.
