Samus's Star Ship

Cosmos region A47 is a region of space. It is the location of the Baby's Cry that Samus Aran tracks, leading to the BOTTLE SHIP and the events of Metroid: Other M.
It is named in cutscenes showing displays on Samus Aran's Star Ship prior to her flying to the source of the distress signal. Most of the text is difficult to decipher, but one line in relation to the area states, "Presence of space dust confirmed." This dust can be seen encircling the BOTTLE SHIP. While this would suggest that the space station has been derelict for a long time, it had only been a few hours since the signal was sent.
