Crates exist everywhere in the Alimbic Cluster except for the Oubliette during the events of Metroid Prime Hunters. Appearing as grey boxes with darker grey rectangles on each side, these crates store pickups such as Energy Capsules and Missile Ammo. They cannot be scanned and are relatively unremarkable compared to more elaborate forms of storage container Samus encounters, such as Bladepods or Torvus Hanging Pods. They are, however, quite durable: it takes a full seven uncharged shots to destroy them, but four and one Charge Shot can also destroy them.
