Cross Bomb

The Cross Bomb is a Bomb upgrade in Metroid Dread. They were first revealed Volume 6 of the Metroid Dread Report. The upgrade is acquired from absorbing Golzuna's Core-X.

When detonated, the Cross Bomb sets off four Bomb explosions in each horizontal and vertical direction, capable of destroying multiple of Bomb Blocks and Beam Blocks in succession while also propelling Samus upward or sideways and allowing her to roll over multiple Pitfall Blocks. It is somewhat similar to the Five-Bomb Drop technique in Super Metroid and Metroid: Other M.
