Crossfire Chaos is a multiplayer level in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes based on the Agon Wastes area. It is a default stage. The stage is rather simple, with a large open field and two small rooms at both ends.

The small "huts" are located along the sides of the main courtyard, situated directly apart from each other. An entrance to a hut can be found at the far end of the stage through short corridors leading away from the main courtyard. Each hut features one Randomizer each in its center, and three large doorways to enter them. However, two of the doorways located from each of a hut's sides are sealed by destructible walls, with each wall possessing 5 HP each. The center doorway into a hut is always open. The center of the stage has two weapon crates at each side besides a wall (these walls are the backside of the huts) and one Super Missile floating high in the middle of the field. There are two slopes to reach the Super Missile from the sides, but it can be acquired from the ground.

This stage does not have any special feature or hazards, and none of Samus's advanced movement systems (Spider Ball, Grapple Beam and Gravity Boost) can be used here.

Statistics

• Super Missile: Located hovering in the center of the arena. Use a Space Jump to obtain.
• Randomizer: Two located within large huts at the edges of the map, one Randomizer each hut in the center.
• Pickup Crate: Two total, one each in the center courtyard by a wall behind a Randomizer hut.
• Coin chest (Bounty Mode only): Can appear in the center courtyard near the ramp ledges, or inside either Randomizer hut.
