Dark Torvus Temple Key 3 is the final Dark Temple Key required for access to the Dark Torvus Temple in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. Samus can obtain it following the defeat of the Grapple Guardian. In the Venomous Pond, the Key is on a high ledge. Samus must ascend to the ledge directly across from the Key and then grapple over to it.
There are a few ways to obtain this key without using the Grapple Beam. In the original NTSC version of Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, it is possible to obtain the Key by standing on top of the largest Ingsphere Cache next to the Red Hatch/Save Room door, then perform a well placed Space Jump toward the corner edge of the ledge containing the Dark Temple Key. Otherwise a Scan Dash or Roll Jump will work from the ledge Samus would normally grapple from.[1]
