A Deer[1], also known as Fauna02[2] is a sauropod-like creature found in the background of rooms in Artaria on ZDR. They are docile towards Samus, merely fleeing from her presence much like deer on Earth. They can be seen being hunted by Corpius at one point. Several can be seen close up when Samus first arrives in Ghavoran, standing next to the elevator before fleeing. Another can be seen being eaten by a Planteater.[3]
It is unknown whether they fell prey to the X, as they are never encountered after their initial appearances.
