"Doruba's Mount" is an enormous beast seen in the first chapter of the Samus & Joey manga. Doruba rides it while he fights Samus Aran and Joey on Liberty with the intention of assaulting or capturing Joey, which Samus notes while examining their attack pattern.

The gargantuan beast had a bulbous body, a salivating reptilian head, and segmented arthropod-style legs. It was well-armored, having repelled Samus' Power Beam, and possessed a pair of back-mounted turrets in addition to a primary beam weapon that originates from it's throat. Doruba is also able to use the massive crests on it's head to take cover from returning fire. It died along with Doruba in the blast of Samus' Super Missile which was fired into its mouth while charging for a second assault.
