EPG-8702 in view.
EPG-8701 and EPG-8702 are a pair of Elite Pirates in Metroid Prime. They can both be viewed by Samus in the Omega Research room in Cryosleep Tanks, but neither ever break out to attack her, unlike another specimen in the room. Their eventual fate is unknown, but it is likely that they died of Phazon Fever or otherwise lost their Phazon abilities with the destruction of the Impact Crater.
