Edwin Neal (born July 12, 1945) is an American screen and voice actor, best known for originating the role of the Hitchhiker in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. He voiced Ghor in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, as well as several Federation Marines and Male Fleet Troopers. Neal often makes appearances at conventions and gatherings in character as the Hitchhiker. He is now primarily a voice actor taking roles in anime and video games, including additional voices in Deus Ex: Invisible War and Two-Face, Killer Croc and Harvey Bullock in DC Universe Online (also starring fellow Corruption actors Claire Hamilton and Lainie Frasier).
Neal is a military veteran, and received a Bronze Star for Valor for his service during the Vietnam War in 1969.
