Emperor Ing Chrysalis,^[1] also known as Theme of Emperor Ing,^[2] is the theme that plays during the battle with the first and second forms of the Emperor Ing.

Description[]

Emperor Ing Chrysalis seems to be in 6/8 time, with heavy emphasis on percussive rhythms and high-pitched synth melodies. Electronic sounds associated with Phazon-related songs are heard through much of the song. Low male choir chants are heard in the song's latter half, which alternate with the higher synths to give the track a rather somber and dramatic vibe.

When Emperor Ing mutates into his final form, Emperor Ing Spider takes over from Emperor Ing Chrysalis as the boss theme.

It is available in the Soundtrack Gallery in Metroid Prime Trilogy. Emperor Ing Chrysalis is included in the Samus Archives Sound Selection CD soundtrack, included with the Special and Legacy Editions of Metroid: Samus Returns.
