GB-6187C-9 (also known as Energy Cell 9) is the final of nine Energy Cells in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Immediately after destroying the Mining cannon and acquiring the Nova Beam, Samus must return to the Phazon Quarry through Drill Shaft 2 of the Pirate Mines, which will grant her access to the area with the Cell. Removing it from its station will disable a shield, allowing Samus to leave the mines quicker.
