GC-9713N-5 (also known as Energy Cell 5) is the fifth of nine Energy Cells in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. When exploring the Xenoresearch Labs in Eastern SkyTown, Samus will find the Seeker Missiles and this Energy Cell in Xenoresearch B. There is a cover on the Energy Cell Station which can be removed with the Grapple Lasso. Removing this Energy Cell has a dangerous side-effect: releasing Phazon Metroids from captivity and allowing them to roam freely around Eastern SkyTown.
