Energy generators are objects present on the first floor of the Aurora Lift on SkyTown, Elysia. They remain functional during Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Scanning them reveals that they supply additional power to the interior chambers of SkyTown's pods. The generators are mounted on the side of the wall and rather resemble conventional lanterns with wide, ridged bases or pedestals. The "lantern" part can be seen glowing with an unknown form of energy, which is very likely to be the fuel used by the pods in SkyTown. Another one of these generators is present on the bottom floor, but it does not have a partner. These generators are part of the room geometry and do not have any gameplay effects.
A different energy generator is present in Escape Pod Bay. When scanned, the Scan Visor reveals: "Energy generator feeds power into the landing cradle for the recharging of evacuation pods."
