This article is about the theme from Metroid Prime Hunters. For other uses, see Escape (Disambiguation).

Escape[1] is a tense, fast-paced theme in Metroid Prime Hunters.

Description[]

As its name implies, it is heard during the eight countdown sequences that begin as Samus is leaving a Stronghold Void with an Octolith, and is also available as track 16 in the game's Music Test after she defeats Gorea's second form. The theme begins with a voice saying "Octolith taken" thrice. An alarm and drums are prevalent throughout the theme.

The Escape theme continues to play as Samus is escaping the area to her Gunship, but will be interrupted if she is accosted by a Guardian or rival Bounty Hunter on her way there. At that point, Guardians or the respective Hunter's theme will begin playing. Escape resumes playing after the threat is neutralized, or Samus escapes the room.

The theme can be heard here.
