Falls of Fire is a room in Bryyo Cliffside in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.
Description[]
A narrow and tall portion of a cliffside where the G.F.S. Theseus crashed into. A service door from said ship leads into this room and further portions of Bryyo but is initially sealed until Samus reactivates the Satellite Uplink onboard the Thesus, which then unlocks the door to this room. The entrance contains more remains of the Thesus and leads into a cliffside containing narrow walls leaking of Fuel Gel. There are two Gel Puffers floating among the two Fuel Gel waterfalls which must be frozen with Ice Missiles to get across the chasm. At the end there is a Bryyonian Labor Golem which Samus must use to reach the bottom of this room. Samus can activate the golem by turning into the Morph Ball and laying a Bomb in the chest of the golem, which contains a Bomb Slot. The golem will then jump down to the bottom of the room, taking Samus with it. If Samus wishes to return to the upper level, she must lay another Bomb and the golem will Wall Jump to the top. The bottom of the room has a White Blast Shield and a Missile Expansion Samus can obtain once she has the Screw Attack.

- Bryyonian Labor Golem
- "Bryyonian Labor Golem appears deteriorated but still functional. A concussive blast may activate it."
- Wall Jump Surface (before Screw Attack)
- "Unknown surface type. Designed to work with an advanced movement system."
Development notes[]
This room's internal name is 0e_bryyo_golemjump, referencing the Bryyo Golem's purpose within this room. The keyword bryyo indicates the planet Bryyo, and the prefix 0e indicates that this is the fifth of 23 sets of junction room throughout the planet.
Trivia[]
- The name Falls of Fire would seem to indicate that firefalls exist in the room (like the Horsetail Fall in Yosemite National Park, California), but it merely refers to the streams of combustible Fuel Gel. This naming scheme is similar to that of Bryyo Fire, which likewise contains large amounts of Fuel Gel.
- This is one of the rooms in which the ambient Heion2 theme plays.
