The "Ferenia E.M.M.I. confrontation room" is a room in Ferenia. It appears in Metroid Dread.
Description[]
This is where Samus confronts E.M.M.I.-06WB after destroying the Central Unit of Ferenia's E.M.M.I. Zone and absorbing the Omega Cannon. It is a large, initially flooded room with two walls containing Breakable Organic Blocks as obstacles. Samus enters via a tunnel from the "Ferenia E.M.M.I. Zone exit", which ends with Pitfall Blocks that drop her into this room. As the E.M.M.I. is likely to be pursuing Samus at this point, she has little choice but to continue forward until she exits the water and reaches a tunnel on the upper right wall, which leads her into a platform shaft with the entrance to the Central Unit's room.
Once the Omega Cannon has been obtained, Samus can use it to destroy a switch, draining the confrontation room's water. She returns to it via a Morph Ball launcher and is immediately pursued by the E.M.M.I. She must quickly navigate a series of tunnels, shooting two Wide Beam Boxes and two Breakable Organic Blocks before the E.M.M.I. catches up with her. This path leads to an upper level with a pair of Shutters, which Samus must carefully pass with her Flash Shift. It brings her into a dead-end corridor where she can finish off the E.M.M.I. A sliding blue magnetic strip is above Samus here should she need to escape if the E.M.M.I. gets too close. Once the E.M.M.I. is destroyed, Samus recovers the Wave Beam from it.
