The Gel Bomb Rack is one of two weapons affixed to the Advanced or Assault Aerotrooper's Remote Attack Pods. These blue, gelatinous bombs stick to their targets until detonation, and cause a large amount of damage to Samus. High-velocity movement can remove them, however. The bombs can also attach to the ground (appearing pinkish-blue) and still explode, blurring Samus' vision and causing damage. Like the normal and Armored Aerotroopers, the Remote Attack Pods of bomb-wielding Aerotroopers are also equipped with Particle Cannons, but instead of bombs the former Troopers are equipped with a Helix Missile Pod.
