The Key Attainment Jingle (as named internally; alternatively titled Key Attainment Long or simply Key Attainment) is a jingle heard in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. As the name implies, it is heard whenever Samus acquires a Dark or Sky Temple Key, or the Energy Transfer Module. It serves the same role as the Get Artifact Jingle in Metroid Prime.
The jingle was changed in the Japanese GameCube release, which carries over into the New Play Control! Metroid Prime 2: Dark Echoes and Metroid Prime Trilogy versions. The original jingle features the same choir as heard in The Luminoth theme, while the updated version is more mysterious in tone.
