The Metroid: Samus Returns Collector's Box is an officially licensed collector's box produced by CultureFly. It was first released on September 27, 2019[1], initially exclusively through EB Games Canada (later GameStop), before being made available through the American GameStop[2] and CultureFly itself. Its contents are based on Metroid: Samus Returns, which was the most recently released Metroid game at the time. As of August 2022, it is sold out at these retailers.
The collection comes in a box depicting Samus Aran as she appears on the cover of Samus Returns. A preview mockup was released showing that the box would include the following contents: a squishable Morph Ball[note 1], a pair of pens themed around Zero Suit Samus with Chozo etchings, a "Zero Suit" beanie (which is actually orange like the Varia Suit and has the series emblem, a vinyl Baby toy, an orange, cylindrical duffel bag with Samus and the S logo along it, an embossed keychain of a Metroid larva, an art print (depicting Samus's Starship flying to Zebes, and a notebook shaped like Samus' helmet.
With the exception of the hat, the contents are individually wrapped in plastic pouches, or small boxes in the case of the Morph stress Ball and Metroid.[3] The final collection omits the Zero Suit Samus pens.
