Fire Hoppers are a fiery variant of Hoppers seen in Metroid Prime: Federation Force. Present on Bion, they are introduced alongside Ice Hoppers and Omega Hoppers. Fire Hoppers have a brown and yellow color and can burrow underground before rising up to attack, similar to Burrowers. They are also found in hive-like Hopper Mounds. Other than this, not much is currently known about them.

- Metroidprime.com misspelled the name of these creatures as "Fire Hopperr".
- The Rohkor Beetle is capable of spawning Rohkor Pods that contain Fire Hoppers, as well as Fire Griptoraxes and Fire Shriekbats.
