Floating objects[1] are encountered by Samus when she uses the Zipline Cables on SkyTown, Elysia in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. They resemble small machines attached to large wheels, and are somehow attached to the Zipline Cables without any noticeable attachments. They usually move in groups of two or three, or rarely four, and appear to gather energy before colliding with Samus in an attempt to make her fall off the Zipline Cable. They must be shot so Samus can remain on the rail. Hitting them in the red circle does additional damage to Samus.
