Forums: Index Help desk Giving Correct credit for citiation if used.

Hello there. I am the founder of the Metroidguide.com . It has come to my attention that some articles on the Wikitroid were direct copy and pastes of original content provided exclusivley on Metroidguide.com. There is absolutly no problem with this if credit is given to the Metroidguide.com

The majority of these were in the planet section, where original art was also taken from the site and used with no credit given as well. I believe under the Metroid section there is also an original image from our site, the exception that the particular image has the Metroidguide.com's address stamp upon it.

I love the Wikitroid site. I think it is an awsome way for fans all over the world to contribute the data compiled from the game. It differs from the MetroidGuide in the fact that the MetroidGuide is a fan created site with non-canon information an theories, where as the Wikitroid is based of data from the games.

I just wanted to bring this to the attention of those who need to know, and only ask that correct credit be given in all instances where this occurs.

Long live Metroid!

I'll set up the references for the pages. Thanks for the info, I usually cite the info I add, though most people don't so I usually do it for them. Thanks for bringing this up too, we've been wondering where all this information is coming from.--Richard 16:50, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
