I've noticed an issue with the majority of our infoboxes. In the "caption" section, when a link is placed in the editor, that text will vanish in the actual page. For example, in the Geemer page, editing the page will show the caption reads "Artwork of a Geemer from Super Metroid." However, for whatever reason, when viewing the actual page the caption under the image reads "Artwork of a Geemer from" excising the link text completely. This is a widespread problem, and I have run into this issue on both Firefox and Safari, so I am confident this issue isn't on my end. Other links in the infobox work fine, which suggests an issue specific to the "caption" line. Will Keaton (talk) 23:46, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
- Add this to the long list of "if it ain't broke, break it!" issues that arose after the mandatory migration to the new wiki software. On a similar note, italics don't work either in captions, but that's a relatively minor issue compared to causing the linked text to vanish entirely. --PeabodySam (talk) 00:07, 17 November 2020 (UTC)
- Issue seems fixed. Thanks to whoever or whateever fixed it. Will Keaton (talk) 23:35, 14 December 2020 (UTC)
