Okay, I think we need to decide whether the articles are written in past or present tense. This problem makes this Wiki more messy.
My opinion is present:
1. If you (re)play a game it does not feel like it has already happened, but as if it is happening right now. Of course a replayer knows what will happen, but that's beside the point.
2. Not every Wikitroid user/visitor has played all of the games (like me), so to those people the events have not even happened yet.
3. When I think about the way I would describe a game to a friend of mine in an everyday situation, I never use past tense. I write in Wikitroid (and other Wikis) with this in mind: telling people, who aren't professional Metroiders, about things that happen in Metroid games.
4. It gives the impression as if the thing told about in the article was old (quoting another user). DarkSamus89 17:46, November 20, 2009 (UTC)
- I agree we should come to a resolution about this. To answer your previos question, an RfC (Request for Comment) is a forum where important ideas for the wiki can be raised by users to be either accepted or not by the community. See Requests for Comment. HellKaiserryo12[ADMIN] (Talk•Contribs) 21:11, November 20, 2009 (UTC)
- Ooh, then that means I kind of posted this to a wrong place... I'll be looking forward to an RfC about this matter then! Thanks Hellkaiserryo12! DarkSamus89 09:08, November 21, 2009 (UTC)
