Fuel pods are large containers found in SkyTown, Elysia. Scans indicate that their contents are safely contained but that they can be ignited by strong impacts. They contain Fuel Gel from Bryyo, likely for any ships that are in need of refueling.
Several are located around the landing pad on the Main Docking Bay, and cannot be destroyed by Samus's weapons. However, while Samus is fighting Ghor on the platform, he will sometimes charge into them, destroying them. They will spill Fuel Gel, Energy and Missile or Ship Missile Ammunition, which Samus can use to fill her reserves.
