Geothermal Core is a room in the Magmoor Caverns area of Metroid Prime. It has 3 pillars in a large pool of magma which require power by a Boost Ball Spinner. By using the Spinner, the platforms on the pillars become raised and eventually a Bomb Slot is accessible. Activating this Bomb Slot will raise the roof and a large Spider Ball Track will be revealed. At the end of the track there is a door that leads to the Plasma Processing Room. Later in the game, both Puddle Spores will disappear from the room.
