Guardians[1] is a battle theme in Metroid Prime Hunters. It was composed by Lawrence Schwedler.
It plays when fighting the mechanoids of the same name anywhere in the Alimbic Cluster. Owing to the Guardians' mechanical nature, the theme consists of metallic-sounding instruments, in addition to a chanting chorus. Midway through the song, the chorus begins repeatedly chanting, and a synthesizer can be heard. After completing Adventure Mode, Guardians can be heard as track 21 in the Music Test.

An unused track, Seq Intro Guardian, may have been intended as an intro to the main Guardians theme. This track features a low male choir with a mysterious-sounding series of higher-pitched notes. It can be heard here: [2]
