The Hall of the Gods is a chamber on a planet of galactic ruins. It was here that the execution of Samus Aran was to occur, as announced by the Greed Corps general of knowledge, Bishop.
Metroid EX[]
First seen in chapter eight, the Hall of the Gods is a circular room lined with hieroglyphs from an unknown alien race. Greed enters this chamber with the desire to use Samus Aran as the sacrifice to access the power.
The impending execution of Samus in the Hall is announced over an intercom. Her allies, Joey and Diesel, make their way to the Hall to save her. However, they are impeded by Greed's general of strength, Knight. Joey, refusing to give up, attacks Knight until the general feels admiration for his persistence and breaks down the door. They soon discover that the announced location was false. The three are confined by Greed's other general, Bishop, who had set traps as a precaution. Samus was actually confined at the Altar of Judgment.
