The Ice Bridge.
The Ice Bridge is a bridge and a scannable object Samus discovers in the Ice Hive room on Arcterra, where it is integrated into the cave geometry. It is carved out of ice, most likely by the Alimbic race. The bridge is capable of holding heavy weight, so Samus is able to pass over it without problems while Zoomers crawl on the bridge. The bridge's ice cannot be melted using the Magmaul, nor can it be damaged with other weapons.
This bridge is present in the multiplayer stage based on the Ice Hive as well. In that mode, it can become a chokepoint where any Bounty Hunter trying to cross the bridge (e.g. to the ring in Defender mode) risks being quickly killed by the Hunter guarding it.
Bridges made of ice are also present in the Gateway Hall in Bryyo Cliffside (where Rundas created one using his cryokinesis) and the "ice bridge cavern" in the Cryosphere; only the latter is destructible.
