The Ice Charge Shot, also known as the Charge Ice Shot and Ice Charge Beam, is an upgrade in Nintendo Land.
In the Metroid Blast attraction, the Ice Charge Shot permanently replaces the default Charge Bomb or Missile with a charge shot that charges and travels faster. On contact, it freezes the target, although it deals no damage and does not have a blast radius. It is crucial for defeating Metroids and is also very useful in defeating red Zebesians; for this reason, it is available in almost every Assault Mission featuring these enemies. Several missions require perfect accuracy with the Ice Charge Shot to achieve Master Rank.
The Ice Charge Shot can also be randomly unlocked as a prize through the Nintendo Land Plaza's Central Tower pachinko game. It is located next to the Rapid-Fire Helmet prize. When selected, the Ice Charge Shot spins around.
