Infiltrating SR388 is a pre-release trailer for Metroid: Samus Returns, published on September 5, 2017. It primarily depicts gameplay and is 40 seconds long. The Diggernaut battle theme plays through most of it.
The trailer first shows Samus Aran's Gunship landing on SR388, Samus exiting and proceeding into the Surface. The Melee Counter, Plasma Beam, Screw Attack, Grapple Beam, Spider Ball and Beam Burst are shown, along with Samus battling a Zeta Metroid, the Diggernaut, and a Metroid larva latched onto Samus.
Other clips include a Power Bomb detonating and killing a Blob Swarm, Samus obtaining the Scan Pulse, a Gamma Metroid dying, and a glimpse at the high vertical shaft in Area 8. At the end of the trailer, the music suddenly stops as a brief glimpse is given of the Queen Metroid's head. After this, the music stops playing and images of the game's logo, stock art, a Metroid larva and the original stock art from Metroid II: Return of Samus are shown in rapid succession. The trailer ends with the game's Title theme while a display of the game's logo and release date, the Nintendo 3DS logo, and then the game's tagline, "Summoning All Heroes" are shown.
The trailer can be viewed in English here, and in German here. In German, it is titled Der Kampf beginnt (The Fight begins) and has an introduction shot of Samus's visor flashing. A Japanese version was uploaded two days prior to the English version, titled メトロイド サムスリターンズ WebCM. The words Metroid... Omoroido! are displayed before the visor flash shot. It can be viewed here.
